FANTASY IMPACT Week 7: Starts, Bets and DraftKings Plays!

BACK ROW SHOW BANDITS!!!

Week 6 of the NFL season happened, and we saw some incredible moments unfold like Andy Dalton making his Dallas Cowboys debut… and Case Keenum making his Cleveland Browns debut… AND TUA TAGOVAILOA MAKING HIS MIAMI DOLPHINS DEBUT! Yes, it happened - the likely 1.01 if it weren’t for injuries came on for a couple of plays for the Dolphins as they drubbed the Jets and is set to be their starter when they come back from their Bye round. Wonderful news for a talented kid, and wonderful news for the NFL that gets a bona fide play maker entering the league.

But enough about that here is what I am looking forward to for Week 7 with you!

START/SIT/ADD/DROP/TRADE -

Start: I want pieces of the Arizona / Seattle game this week. If you have any players that are on the fringes of starting (Christian Kirk, Andy Isabella, David Moore) then they may well be worth the flex spot this week in a game that could blow up.

Sit: Your Jets that are not named Jamison Crowder. Do not do it to yourself. Just don’t.

Add: I don’t know why (and I’m not sure if this will be published in time), but if Dallas Goedert is on your waiver wires it is imperative that you get him with Zach Ertz set to miss some time due to injury.

Trade For: Andy Dalton wasn’t great, and if there’s anyone in your league that has any Cowboys pieces who could be worried about their short term future with him in the lineup - or if they think Dak Prescott may not be about next year or even back to his full health - I would ask those guys with Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup or CeeDee Lamb what the temperature in the room is.

Trade Away: He had his big week against Dallas, but everyone has big weeks against Dallas - so if you have Kenyan Drake now is the time to really think about moving him on and selling high. He has a good schedule upcoming but move him on before your league’s deadline.

LINE AND SPREAD -

(Via our friends at mybookie.ag, of course. Odds taken on Tuesday so expect variance by Sunday)

Take The Overs: Jacksonville and the Chargers right now is set at 49.5 and although the Jaguars are a different team on the road, I can imagine both Justin Herbert and Gardner Minshew will keep this game at a high pace, and if that's the case then the ‘overs’ look good here.

Take The Unders: On the Bills visiting the Jets (set at 45.5). I can’t see this game getting close to that at all. The Jets are trash, and 45.5 is generous.

Hold: Green Bay vs Houston is currently set at 56.5 - and although these teams can absolutely smash this, I still want to see what way the needle moves on Sunday. A point here or there could be enough for this to be a layup.

Parlay: Chicago (at L.A. Rams) +5.5, Houston (vs Green Bay) +4, Kansas (at Denver) -9.5, and Arizona (vs Seattle) +3.5. This gets you to +1200. Why not indeed!

DFS -

(Via our friends at Draft Kings, but you knew that!)

Value: Stack your Bengals in a hopeful shoot-out with Cleveland this week. Joe Burrow ($5500), and Tee Higgins ($5300) or even A.J. Green ($4300) should be the base of your teams this week, especially with Joe Mixon banged up. Tyler Boyd is the pricier of the Bengals receiver trio at $5400, so if you wanted that guy instead that is fine also.

Overpriced: James Robinson has been ok, but not great, like he was in the first few weeks of the season. He is currently at $6200, and at that price I am probably going to move back slightly to Todd Gurley at $6000 instead.

Underpriced: Carson Wentz is criminally underpriced on the Thursday night game at $5700 against the Giants who can make even Nick Mullens look like a superstar, and Carson Wentz can make even a drunk cat fantasy viable.

Contrarian Play: If - AND THAT’S A BIG ‘IF’ - Noah Fant is out again, I am very interested to see Albert Okwuegbunam ($2500) gets more hype towards the end of the week. Drew Lock started to look his way just a little bit last week against the Patriots in the end-zone, and again touchdowns are all a tight end needs to be relevant.

And there you have it!
